Parrish Healthcare is dedicated to the safety of our patients, visitors and Care Partners (employees, physicians and volunteers). Therefore, weapons of any kind are not permitted in any of our Parrish Healthcare facilities. In addition, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any act of violence.
All individuals entering Parrish Medical Center, through both our main hospital entrance and Emergency Department entrance, will be required to walk through a metal detector or be scanned with a handheld device. All bags (purses, backpacks, briefcases, etc.) are subject to inspection. Parrish Medical Center strictly prohibits the following items:

All individuals entering Parrish Medical Center are required to obtain a visitor pass. Visitors are required to present identification bearing their name and photo and have a legitimate purpose for entering the facility. By checking in, you consent to the collection and use of your photograph for security, identification and facility access purposes. Images are stored securely and will not be shared with third parties.
We retain only the following:
We do not retain any other information from your photo identification, such as your date of birth, address or physical description.
In rare cases involving a serious security incident, our security team may use our camera system to alert staff if a specific individual involved in that incident returns to the facility. Any information used for this purpose is retained only as long as the security need exists, and is then deleted.
As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, clean and healthy environment for all patients, visitors and Parrish Healthcare Care Partners, we are proud to be a 100% tobacco-free campus.
This means tobacco use of any kind—including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco—is not permitted on any Parrish Healthcare property.
