Veronica Dent Named Director of Communications at PMC

Parrish Medical Center (PMC), One of America’s Finest Healing Environments®, has named accomplished public relations professional Veronica Dent, APR, as director of communications & community services.

Dent will be responsible for directing strategic communications, including, but not limited to brand management, community outreach, and public and media relations.

Dent has more than 25 years of experience in communications and public relations. She most recently served as the public relations manager for Municipal Light & Power in Anchorage, Alaska, where she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic internal and external communications, outreach and community development, and key accounts customer service.

Dent earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Environmental Studies from Northern Arizona University. She is also accredited in Public Relations (APR) and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Her civic and professional service includes roles as trustee and past president of the Anchorage Library Foundation and past chair of First-Book Anchorage.

She and her husband reside in North Brevard.
