Parrish Healthcare is proud to offer a wide range of free support groups designed to meet people where they are. Whether you’re navigating a new health diagnosis like diabetes, recovering from a stroke or heart attack, adjusting to life changes such as becoming a caregiver or new parent, or simply looking to enhance your overall well-being through community connections and organized playdates, our support groups provide a safe, welcoming space to connect, share and grow. Below are a few of the supports offered by Parrish Healthcare:

  • A.W.A.K.E Sleep Support Group: A.W.A.K.E.(Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic)is a sleep support and health awareness group for individuals affected by sleep disorders. The group focuses on sharing information, increasing awareness and discussing sleep-related conditions and their impact on overall health.
  • Cancer and Survivor Support Group: A supportive and compassionate group for cancer patients, survivors and anyone touched by cancer. Connect with others who understand, share experiences and find encouragement in a welcoming environment.
  • Caring for Caregivers Support Group: Caring for someone you love is deeply rewarding and deeply demanding. Our caregiver support group offers a space to recharge, share and learn how to prioritize your own well-being.
  • Decoding Diabetes Support Group: Diabetes is a complex condition, and we’re here to help you manage it! This interactive support group is led by a Clinical Dietician who will help decode diabetes in a fun and engaging way. Designed for adults 18 and older, the class covers nutrition and meal planning, physical wellness, preventing complications and more.
  • Early Steps Community Play Date: Join us for a fun and friendly play day for children ages five and under! This group offers a relaxed space for little ones to play, explore and socialize while caregivers connect with others in the community. All families are welcome—come play with us!
  • Fearless Café: In partnership with St. Francis Hospice, A Reflections Lifestage Service, Fearless Café creates a relaxed space to talk openly about advance care planning—wills, living wills, power of attorney and the conversations we often avoid about death and dying.
  • Mom’s Support Group: Join a supportive, judgment-free space for mothers navigating life with a new baby. This group is designed for moms with infants from birth to six months and offers connection, reassurance and practical guidance. Topics covered include infant feeding, sleep, milestones, development, safety and play—along with postpartum care, mental health, nutrition and birth control. A safe space to connect, learn and feel supported.
  • Stroke and Heart Survivors Support Group: A heart disease or stroke diagnosis can change everything—for you or someone you love. This support group brings people together to share experiences, find strength and support one another.
  • Tools to Quit Smoking Now: Quitting tobacco isn’t easy—but finding support should be! This group connects you with free tools and services offered by Tobacco Free Florida to help you quit for good. Learn about available resources, get encouragement and take the next step toward a healthier life.
