Navin Bajaj, MD

About Navin

Dr. Navin Bajaj is a board-certified Intensivist and Internal Medicine physician with extensive international training and academic experience in critical care, sleep medicine, and pulmonary medicine. 

He previously held the role of Intensivist and Medical Director at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, University of North Carolina, where he also served as Clinical Faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Campbell University School of Medicine. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Associate Consultant in Critical Care at Singapore General Hospital and contributed as a faculty member and clinical educator within multiple residency and graduate medical education programs, including Duke-NUS Medical School.

Dr. Bajaj completed fellowships in Sleep Medicine at Boston University Medical Center and in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He served as Chief Medical Resident at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency following his medical education at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

His clinical and academic interests include critical care medicine, respiratory failure, mechanical ventilation, sleep-disordered breathing, and thromboembolic disease. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented widely at national and international conferences, including the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Bajaj has held numerous leadership and committee roles across healthcare systems in the United States and Singapore and has been recognized for his contributions to medical education, quality improvement, and clinical excellence.
