Dr. Galfo takes his time and listens to what the patient has to say. Don't feel like I'm being rushed. He is an Asset to Parrish!

I went in for an appointment to be told they didn't know if my insurance would cover the visit. Then they told me they didn't know how much it would cost for the visit if I paid myself. Then when I called customer service to complain, I got an answering machine which promised a call back, which I did not get. Then when they figured out my insurance did cover the visit, I went back in for a new appointment. They said the doctor would be a few minutes late. I waited for over an hour. The doctor that I saw yesterday is Mark Galfo. I really, really, really like him. He's in retirement mode now and only working three days a week. I would recommend him highly to anybody, but he's not going to be there for long. I did see his replacement twice, and I wasn't really impressed. Dr. Galfo has a personality and has a legitimate and genuine care about me and personally speaks of different things outside of the realm of medical. I have been seeing Dr. Galfo for years. Now that he is only in the practice 2.5 days a week, I decided to start looking for another Primary Care Doctor before Dr. galfo retires. I waited for three months to get in to see another Doctor at another provider facility, only to have them shift my appointment to a Nurse Practitioner the day before my appointment. I very much trust and appreciate Dr. Galfo. I think that he listens to me. He takes into account my specific body and my specific experiences and I wish he would practice forever because I never want another doctor besides him.
