About Dylan

Dr. Dylan Patel is a fellowship-trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon specializing in the diagnosis,
treatment, and prevention of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. He is dedicated to
providing compassionate, patient-centered care through individualized surgical and non-surgical
treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. His approach emphasizes restoring
mobility, alleviating pain, and improving overall quality of life.

Dr. Patel completed extensive three-year surgical residency training at Advocate Christ Medical
Center, a Level I Trauma Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois, where he gained comprehensive
experience in the surgical management of complex foot and ankle conditions. His training
encompassed a broad spectrum of procedures, including foot and ankle trauma and fracture
repair, reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, total ankle replacements, tendon and ligament
reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, and diabetic limb salvage. Following residency, he
pursued additional advanced surgical training through the AdventHealth Innovative Foot and
Ankle Surgery Fellowship in the St. Petersburg-Tarpon Springs area of Florida, where he further
refined his surgical expertise and expanded his knowledge of advanced reconstructive
techniques, complex foot and ankle procedures, and innovative surgical approaches. Dr. Patel
is known for his compassionate approach, strong principles, dedication, and meticulous
attention to detail. He is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery
(ABFAS) and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).

Throughout his academic and surgical training, Dr. Patel has demonstrated a strong
commitment to leadership and professional excellence. He served as Class President during
podiatric medical school and later as Chief Resident during his surgical residency. Building upon
these leadership experiences and his advanced fellowship training, Dr. Patel strives to deliver
comprehensive, evidence-based care while fostering meaningful relationships with his patients.
He believes in treating every patient with the same compassion, respect, and dedication he
would extend to his own family.

Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling with his wife, playing basketball, spending quality
time with family, and cheering on his favorite sports team, the Chicago Bears.
