TITUSVILLE, FLA. (October 9, 2026)—Last week, Parrish Healthcare held a special volunteer appreciation luncheon at The Great Outdoors Golf Course to honor the dedication and contributions of its volunteers. The luncheon brought together leadership and volunteers in a relaxed and festive Fall setting to celebrate their service and commitment.
“Our volunteers have countless ways they could choose to spend their time, yet they make the decision to be with us—sharing their time, talents and compassion in service to others,” said George Mikitarian, President and CEO of Parrish Healthcare. “That choice is incredibly meaningful. They are not simply giving their time; they are helping to care for our community, supporting our teams and making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. We are deeply grateful for the heart they bring to Parrish Healthcare.”
Parrish Healthcare’s volunteer program was established in 1959 and has welcomed hundreds of individuals, adults and teens alike, over the last six decades. In that time, volunteers collectively contributed more than three million hours of service to Parrish Healthcare and North Brevard, the equivalent of more than 342 years of volunteer service.
At the luncheon, Parrish acknowledged volunteer efforts from the past year and presented lifetime service milestone awards. The following volunteers were recognized for their continued service within Parrish Healthcare:
- 100 Service Hours: Richard Barber, Andy Pollard, Richard Wilson, Mariah Vaughn and Michael Zocchi
- 300 Service Hours: David Munnerlyn
- 500 Service Hours: Lana Burkett and Michael Cardinale
- 750 Service Hours: Ronald Davis and Geraldine Wardle
- 1,000 Service Hours: Pat Braden, Joan Fath and Larry Hall
- 1,500 Service Hours: James Brackin and Connie Smith
- 3,000 Service Hours: Kathy Browning
- 10,500 Service Hours: Terry Deal
Parrish Healthcare thanks the staff at The Great Outdoors who helped ensure the luncheon was a success for all attendees and the planning committee who helped organize the event.
