The Great Outdoors Ladies Golf Association Strengthens Local Cancer Support with Donation to Jess Parrish Medical Foundation

The Great Outdoors Ladies Golf Association (TGO-LGA) reaffirmed its dedication to supporting breast cancer care in North Brevard by donating the proceeds from its Breast Cancer Tournament on October 20, 2025, to the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation in support of Parrish Healthcare’s Oncology Program

Since 2018, the TGO-LGA’s annual event has raised more than $66,000, helping expand access to vital breast health services including mammograms, diagnostic screenings and Cancer Boutique resources for underinsured and uninsured individuals in North Brevard.

We are incredibly grateful for the TGO-LGA’s heartfelt dedication to the community and to the patients we serve,” said Shannon Luker, breast health navigator and oncology program coordinator at Parrish Healthcare. “Their generosity directly helps individuals receive early detection, treatment support and compassionate care.”

Members of the TGO-LGA say their commitment stems from a desire to support friends, neighbors and loved ones impacted by breast cancer. “Many in our community have been touched by breast cancer in some way,” said Susan Jensen, tournament event co-chair. “Supporting Parrish Healthcare’s oncology services allows us to give back to the community we love and help ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the screenings and care they need.”

The continued partnership between TGO-LGA and Parrish Healthcare highlights the power of community-driven efforts in expanding access to essential health services throughout North Brevard and advancing Parrish Healthcare’s mission of Healing Experiences for Everyone All the Time®.
