Jess Parrish Medical Foundation Celebrates Ribbon Cutting of Healthcare Hero Park

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (February 27, 2026)—Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF), the philanthropic arm of Parrish Healthcare, celebrated the official ribbon cutting of Healthcare Hero Park on February 19, 2026, marking the dedication of a new tribute garden honoring the extraordinary individuals who make healing possible.

Located on Parrish Medical Center’s main campus, the park is designed as a serene setting for reflection, gratitude and inspiration that invites patients, families, visitors and community members to pause and recognize the compassion and commitment of healthcare professionals.

“The park stands as a living tribute of Parrish Healthcare’s mission to provide Healing Experiences for Everyone All the Time®," said Parrish Healthcare President and CEO George Mikitarian. “We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.”

Community leaders, including Mayor Andrew Connors, healthcare professionals, donors and supporters gathered for the ceremony, which featured remarks highlighting the vision behind the park and the lasting impact it will have on future generations. The project was made possible through the contributions of Hulbert Homes, the Hursey/Fossum Family and dedicated local partners committed to strengthening the future of healthcare in North Brevard.

Proceeds generated through Healthcare Hero Park will create a permanent endowment fund to provide scholarships in perpetuity for individuals pursuing careers in medical and healthcare fields centered on human health. This enduring investment will help fuel the next generation of healthcare heroes.

Community members are invited to participate in this legacy by honoring a healthcare hero with a commemorative tribute plaque.
