Parrish Medical Center Earns 2025 Gold Environmental Excellence Award from Stryker

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (April 24, 2026)—Parrish Medical Center has been recognized with Stryker’s Sustainability Solutions Environmental Excellence Award for outstanding sustainability achievements in 2025, earning the program’s prestigious Gold designation.

Like many hospitals across the nation, Parrish Medical Center continues to expand initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of care delivery.

In 2025, Parrish Medical Center’s participation in the Stryker’s sustainability program delivered measurable environmental impact, including:

• Diverting more than 11,000 units of medical waste from landfills
• Supporting carbon-neutral inbound shipping practices
• Helping mitigate approximately 1,476 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions

These efforts not only reduce waste but also strengthen supply chain resilience and ensure more efficient use of critical healthcare resources.
