Parrish Healthcare Honors Extraordinary Nurse Allando Stone as Quarterly DAISY Award® Honoree and All Other Nominees

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (November 25, 2025)—Parrish Healthcare to is proud to announce Allando Stone, RN, as this quarter’s DAISY Award® for Extraordinary Nurses Honoree. Stone was nominated by a patient who spent four days in the hospital while undergoing surgery. Stone is a nurse at Parrish Medical Center, located at 951 North Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL.

In Stone’s nomination, the patient shared that although many nurses were kind and caring, Allando’s compassion, attentiveness and positive presence made an unforgettable difference during their difficult hospitalization. “I was in a lot of pain, very sick and anxious. Allando was beyond nice, he always came in my room smiling and he was a great listener,” the patient shared. “Allando’s patience, knowledge and empathy were constant, this is why I am nominating him for an award.”

The DAISY Award® is an international recognition program that honors the extraordinary skill and compassion nurses provide every day. Parrish Healthcare launched the program in January 2025 and has since received hundreds of nominations from patients, families and colleagues who want to recognize extraordinary nursing care.
