Titusville Fire Department presented Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF) with a $750 donation in support of Parrish Healthcare’s oncology program. Since launching their annual Pink Out Campaign, the Titusville Fire Department has raised more than $21,000, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to advancing Parrish Healthcare’s vision of Healing Families—Healing Communities®.
Throughout October, members of the Fire Department once again “went pink” for their 2025 Pink Out campaign. In alignment with nationwide and local breast cancer awareness efforts, firefighters continued their tradition of selling and wearing pink t-shirts in place of their standard uniform shirts in observance of breast cancer awareness month.
For the eleventh consecutive year, Titusville Fire Department has supported JPMF and Parrish Healthcare’s oncology program through proceeds from their limited-edition breast cancer awareness t-shirt sales.
“Titusville Fire Department is proud to honor the invaluable partnerships we share with Jess Parrish Medical Foundation and Parrish Healthcare,” said Gregory Sutton, Battalion Chief of Administration and Public Information Officer. “Together, we are committed to raising funds for breast cancer awareness and supporting the oncology services at Parrish Healthcare—an effort that brings vital care, hope and healing to those in our community facing this difficult disease. We are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to help provide essential resources and support to our residents during their most challenging moments. Our community’s generous response continues to inspire us, and we look forward to strengthening this partnership and raising additional funds for this important cause next year.”
“Mammography screenings continue to be a major priority for Parrish Healthcare,” said Shannon Luker, Breast Health Navigator and Oncology Program Coordinator at Parrish Healthcare. “As the only oncology program in the area accredited by the Commission on Cancer, Parrish Healthcare remains committed to offering free, potentially life-saving mammograms to those who need them most—individuals who are unemployed, under-insured, uninsured or facing high deductibles. It is truly rewarding to be part of a community that works together to ensure access to essential cancer-screening resources, helping us detect cancer earlier and ultimately improve patient outcomes.”
“The essential support provided by the Titusville Fire Department will open the door to additional resources and opportunities for those we serve in North Brevard—resources many would not otherwise be able to access,” said Melissa Lugo, Chairman of the JPMF Board of Directors. “We deeply appreciate our community partner, Titusville Fire Department, for their continued dedication to Parrish Healthcare and for helping us further our mission of delivering Healing Experiences for Everyone All the Time®.”
