Parrish Healthcare Orthopedic Surgeon Matthew Musto, DO, Earns Board Certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (December 17, 2025)—Parrish Healthcare Orthopedic Surgeon Matthew Musto, DO, has earned Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS)—a distinguished professional milestone that recognizes his expertise, commitment to clinical excellence and dedication to patient-centered orthopedic care.
Dr. Musto currently serves as Director of Total Joint Replacement and Chair of the Department of Surgery and Anesthesia at Parrish Healthcare, where he specializes in advanced surgical treatments designed to restore mobility and improve quality of life for patients with hip, knee and other joint conditions.

In March 2024, Parrish Medical Center announced Dr. Musto was the first orthopedic surgeon in Brevard to use the VELYSTM Robotic-Assisted Solution—advanced technology designed for digital precision and accuracy in total knee replacement. The VELYS™ Robotic-Assisted Solution technology helps surgeons perform a knee replacement with the use of data that’s tailored to each patient’s anatomy. To date, Dr. Musto has completed nearly 200 total knee replacements at Parrish Medical Center.
Dr. Musto completed his orthopedic surgical fellowship training at the Minnesota Center for Orthopedics, gaining extensive experience in the latest joint replacement technologies and surgical techniques. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with honors from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. His educational background also includes a master’s degree in medical science and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Dr. Musto’s board certification further strengthens Parrish Healthcare’s mission to provide safe, healing and patient-centered care to the communities it serves.
