Parrish Healthcare’s Circle of Giving Campaign has Funded Several Community Projects

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (April 4, 2019)—Parrish Healthcare care partners have generously donated more than $83,500 in their annual giving campaign, Circle of Giving, to fund community projects that are impacting and saving lives in North Brevard.

Under the direction of Jess Parrish Medical Foundation, Circle of Giving 2018 has funded:

  • Thermal Imaging Camera and CPR Manikins for the Titusville Fire Department to provide critical rescue technology to assist firefighters to “see through the smoke” to locate and save victims.
  • Tourniquet Kits and Training for Titusville Police Department officers to provide officers with critical rescue training and resources until help arrives. Seven lives saved since the program inception in 2015!
  • Playground repairs at The Children’s Center to ensure the children can continue to enjoy the playground within a safe, healing environment.
  • Infant Radiant Warmer Bed, a prewarmed bed, to prevent cold stress on newborns during admission, examination, X-rays or other procedures.
  • Lactation Room/Breast Pump for Care Partners to promote and support breastfeeding while providing a baby-friendly, healing work environment for moms.
  • Bladder Scanner to help reduce unnecessary catheterization, lowering the risk of infection and maximizing efficiency for medical staff.

“These generous gifts are helping us fulfill our vision of Healing Families–Healing Communities®,” said Misty Wilson, director of Jess Parrish Medical Foundation. “We thank our care partners for their continued generosity and support for the annual Circle of Giving Campaign. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of Brevard residents.”
