PARRISH MEDICAL GROUP WELCOMES NITIN HATÉ, MD, DIM

Parrish Medical Group welcomes Nitin Haté, MD, DIM, a board-certified Occupational Medicine physician.

Dr. Haté serves as the medical director of the newest Parrish Healthcare Center located on 390 Challenger Road in Port Canaveral.

Dr. Haté is board certified in both Occupational and Environmental Medicine and has more than 40 years’ experience in the field. He studied Occupational Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and School of Medicine in New York under world-renowned Dr. Irving Selikoff, who discovered asbestos-related lung disease.

He then joined the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention as an epidemic intelligence service officer, and served in the Health Hazard Evaluation and Technical Assistance Branch of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

Dr. Haté received his medical degree from Grant Medical College at the University of Bombay, India. He earned a post-graduate Diploma in Industrial Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Bombay, India while serving as the medical director of the largest Indian shipping company. He is proficient in OSHA regulations and has helped businesses comply with their requirements, mandatory training and periodic medical surveillance.

The Parrish Healthcare Center at Port Canaveral offers a full-service occupational health program, including workers compensation care.
