JPMF to Host Annual Benefit Gala

Jess Parrish Medical Foundation has announced the law firm of GrayRobinson, P.A., William A. Boyles & Troy A. Kishbaugh as the presenting sponsors for this year’s annual Benefit Gala “Latin Fusion…Feel the Rhythm of the Night!” on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 8 p.m. to midnight at La Cita Country Club in Titusville. From the wild times of 1950's Havana, to the modern hot spots of Argentina and Puerto Rico, the irresistible sound of Latin rhythms will lead your feet to the dance floor.

Jess Parrish Medical Foundation is hoping this year’s event will be a tremendous success, raising over $120,000 for the Women’s Center North Guild to have a permanent home that addresses urgent needs of domestic violence victims by providing counseling services, financial assistance, career guidance, victim advocacy, and a safe house in North Brevard County.

“It is our privilege to be the presenting sponsor of this great event for the third year in a row. We believe in continuing the foundation’s mission of providing healing experiences to families throughout Brevard County. In the near future, we hope the Women’s Center North Guild will have a permanent home to help prevent loved ones, friends and community members from being injured as a result of domestic violence,” said William A. Boyles, shareholder at GrayRobinson, P.A.

Throughout the night, guests can relax under a cabana, watch exciting entertainment, enjoy Latin inspired dining and dance the night away – and all for a good cause! Another thrilling opportunity will be a chance to win a $1,000 cash prize or $3,000 in gift certificates to Jon’s Fine Jewelry in Cocoa Village (3 chances at $1,000 each) when purchasing a ticket for $20.

The underwriting committee has secured sponsorships from numerous community members and organizations. “Tango” sponsors include: Dr. Frank Dienst Medical Services LLC and Marilyn Dienst. Other sponsors at the time of this release include: “Cha Cha” sponsors, BIMDA, Boggs Gases, N. Christine Sylvester, FLORIDA TODAY and SCB Marketing. Other generous sponsors will be recognized at the gala.

“We’d like to thank all our sponsors who will be helping make a real difference in the lives of countless domestic violence victims in our community. We’re really excited about how things are coming together. We’re going to have some terrific entertainment, fabulous food, and great auction items. Everyone’s guaranteed to have a good time and find surprises around every corner,” said Kelley Broome committee co-chair.

Event co-chairs are Chris and Kelley Broome, and Randy and Mary Coleman. Other committee members are Winnie Brewer, Amy Craddock, Betty Greene, Melissa Lugo, Carla McRae, Jim Musick, Katherine Musick, Laura Norris and Dr. Tanya Taival. The event design and production is being done by Nave Event Design.
