JPMF Celebrates Benefit Gala Success

The Jess Parrish Medical Foundation’s (JPMF) Glamour, Glitz & Games Under the Big Top Benefit Gala presented by GrayRobinson, P.A., was held October 25, 2013 at La Cita Country Club. The gala resulted in net proceeds of more than $115,000 for The Children’s Center in Titusville.

The Children’s Center, a service of Parrish Medical Center and one-stop childhood development resource center, provides an array of health, education, and human services under one roof. Serving special needs and typically developing children, the Center’s vision is to develop “Strong Families for Life.”

With 67 sponsors and nearly 300 in attendance, the event was a huge success! The ringmaster welcomed guests as they entered the glamorous world of “the big top” where they were entertained by a stilt walker, juggler and magician upon arrival. Guests then entered the “midway” where they enjoyed vintage carnival games and delectable circus-inspired fare. The evening continued with cirque performers who wowed the crowd. NIL Entertainment owner and performer, Andrei Roublev, circled the floor with his German wheel, while Irina Roublev kept things moving with her spinning hoops.

Guests bid on trips such as a beach getaway for 10 and a trip to the 2014 Masters Golf Tournament. Entertainment and dancing continued throughout the evening, and then excitement filled the room as the raffle winners were announced. Joe Clark was the lucky winner of the $1,000 cash prize, and Jessie Kirk walked away with the grand prize of a $2,500 gift card to Jon’s Fine Jewelry in Cocoa Village.

Sponsors for the event included: “Big Top” Presenting Sponsor: GrayRobinson, P.A.; “Ringmaster” sponsor: TD Bank; “Center Ring” sponsor, Jaime and Melissa Lugo; “Trapeze Artists” sponsors: Brevard Indo-American Medical and Dental Association (BIMDA), Boggs Gases, FLORIDA TODAY, Jon’s Fine Jewelry, SCB Marketing, N.
