Hope Floats, An Event for Breast Cancer Prevention & Recovery

Join Parrish Medical Center and special guest Jenn Gibbons for a message of hope for breast cancer prevention and recovery
Jenn Gibbons, founder of Recovery on Water (ROW), will present her message of hope on Thursday, November 1, at 5:30 p.m. at the Emma Parrish Theater, 301 Julia Street, Titusville, Florida.
Gibbons will share her message of hope, and the story of her 1,500-mile rowing trip around Lake Michigan. You’ll also learn how important exercise is in the fight against breast cancer, and how it can reduce the risk of cancer coming back.
It’s been proven that breast cancer survivors who exercise reduce their risk of recurrence by 50 percent. ROW is a rowing team that gives breast cancer survivors the opportunity to interact, become active in their recovery, and gain support from fellow survivors.
