Do you or someone you know suffer from sleep problems? If so, you are encouraged to attend this support group meeting on Monday, June 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Parrish Healthcare Center at Port St. John, 5005 Port St. John Parkway (east of the I-95 Port St. John exit). The meetings are held in the Conference Center by the south entrance (near the sleep lab). This is a free community service. Please call 321-268-6408 to register.

The June 4 meeting will include a discussion on dreams…what do they mean? Dreams can be terrifying, bizarre or very bland. But what are dreams to the human mind? Are they, as Sigmund Freud suggested, messages from our unconscious mind? Are we opening our mind to new ideas, or simply trying to remember what we've learned that day? We will take a look at the theory behind dreams.

If you have a card or chip in your CPAP machine it can tell you if your mask is leaking, if you stop breathing and even if you’re snoring. We will do a free download of your card. Lets take a look to make sure your mask and pressures are optimal. You will get a free printout before you leave. Please bring your card in an envelope with your name on it.

A.W.A.K.E. Support Group is a free community service sponsored by Parrish Medical Center. At every A.W.A.K.E. meeting you’ll have the opportunity to view newer model CPAP machines and masks, and receive free mask fittings. A.W.A.K.E. meetings are held the first Monday of each month.
