Do you suffer from sleep apnea or have a family member or friend who suffers from it? If so, you are encouraged to attend this support group meeting on Monday, April 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Parrish Healthcare Center at Port St. John, 5005 Port St. John Parkway, (east of the I-95 Port St. John exit). The meetings are held in the Conference Center by the south entrance (near the sleep lab). This is a free community service. Please call 321-268-6408 to register.

The April 4 meeting will include the following:

· Allergies and CPAP use. What to do? Once you get used to CPAP therapy and come to appreciate how great it makes you feel, you won't want to miss one single night using it! But what happens if you have allergies or a cold? The pollen count is very high this year. Having allergies or a cold is bad enough, but losing sleep because you cannot use CPAP makes it even worse. We will discuss options to help you overcome these allergies and not have to miss out on a good nights sleep with your CPAP.

· Two new CPAP masks will be discussed At this meeting we will discuss two brand new masks that have just come on the market. We always display every mask that is made, so you know your options. We want to provide you with the utmost comfort while wearing CPAP. Presented by Kristina St. Peter-Weaver, RPSGT

· At every A.W.A.K.E. Support Group meeting you’ll have the opportunity to see newer model CPAP machines and masks and receive a free mask fitting if you’d like.
