Celebrate The Children's Center 10-Year Anniversary

Community Invited to Celebrate with a FREE Children’s Concert.
The Children’s Center, located in South Titusville, will celebrate 10 years of providing early childhood programs, services and support for children and their families on Saturday, November 6, from 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. at the Titusville Performing Arts Center at Titusville High School, 150 Terrier Trail.
Join us as we recognize the children, volunteers, partners and employees who have been a part of The Children’s Center for 10 years. A “walk down memory lane” slide show will take you through the years and introduce you to our past and present families as they have participated in the many childhood development programs housed at the center.
“We are looking forward to celebrating the growth of the children and families we have touched over the past 10 years,” said Center Manager Lori Duester. “This event is also a chance for us to say thank you to the many people in our community who have supported and partnered with us in our efforts to make a positive difference in the lives of young children throughout Brevard County.”
You’ll get your toes tapping with Brian Slawson as “Boomer” with his BOOMERBEATS performance using a dazzling array of percussion instruments and toys. Brian is Julliard trained and a Grammy-nominated percussionist. He is currently a member of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra.
Then you can Bop Till You Drop with “Mr. Al,” a musician-turned-educator-turned-entertainer who will get you up singing, dancing, moving and grooving! Mr. Al travels throughout the U.S. and abroad performing sold-out concerts for children and families. He also writes, produces and records his pop-styled educational music and has produced 20 CDs. Mr. Al has also been honored with numerous Parents’ Choice and NAPPA awards!
And what’s a party without cake? The grand finale will be cake for all! So mark your calendar and help us celebrate The Children’s Center 10th Anniversary with fun and family.
The Children's Center, an affiliate of Parrish Medical Center, offers a variety of learning and early development programs for area children. The Children’s Center consists of six local partner agencies working together to meet the needs of children. The Center annually serves nearly 2,500 children and their families.
