Celebrate The Gift of Light

You and your family will experience a truly spectacular holiday gathering filled with good friends, good tidings and much more. This free public event will be held on Sunday, December 5, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Parrish Medical Center, 951 N. Washington Avenue, Titusville, Fla. Gift of Light is sponsored annually by the Parrish Medical Center Auxiliary and Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF).

This popular, traditional holiday event attracts more than 1,000 people from around North and Central Brevard. “Families enjoy seeing the 22 multicultural holiday displays in the hospital, and many families use our holiday displays as backdrops for their family holiday photos and cards,” stated Natalie Sellers, director, PMC Communications & Service Excellence. Other event attractions include:
  • Channel 9 Chief Meteorologist, Tom Terry
  • Lite Rock 99.3
  • Photos with Santa & Mrs. Clause
  • Children’s crafts, games, face painting and prizes
  • Gingerbread cookie decorating
  • Live entertainment on the outdoor stage by the Mistletones, Santa Sisters, and community performers including Mims Elementary, Oak Park Elementary and Astronaut High School choruses
  • Tree lighting at 6 pm; a spectacular 50-foot outdoor tree generously donated by the Parrish Medical Center Auxiliary The event is free and open to the public.
Individuals have an opportunity to purchase a light on the 50-foot tree in honor or memory of a loved one as a donation to JPMF. Funds raised through the purchase of a tree light benefit JPMF community projects. For more information about making a donation to the JPMF, please call 321-269-4066.
