JPMF Receives Major Gift Pledge from PMC Auxiliary

Jess Parrish Medical Foundation has received a $300,000 pledge from the Parrish Medical Center (PMC) Auxiliary to help support The Children’s Center Futures Fund.

The Children's Center, a service of Parrish Medical Center, provides special needs and typically developing children numerous programs, including physical, social, emotional, recreational and educational development. The Children’s Center serves more than 2,500 children annually. Six partner agencies provide a continuum of care to all children regardless of ability or socio-economic status. The Futures Fund was established to sustain these services long into the future.

“This is currently the largest gift made in support of this fund and has helped propel the Futures Fund campaign closer to the long-term goal of $1 million to provide for future sustainability of the center,” said Jason Snodgrass, chairman of the JPMF board of directors.

“On behalf of the foundation board and everyone at Parrish Medical Center, I would like to thank the PMC Auxiliary for their commitment to this fund, which will help children long into the future. The PMC Auxiliary, which has over 400 members, has been a long-time supporter of the foundation and we greatly appreciate it,” he added.
