About Marinely

Dr. Cruz-Amy is a medical hematologist oncologist with Parrish Medical Group, specializing in the diagnoses and treatment of a wide range of cancers and blood disorders. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and completed her advanced subspecialty fellowship in blood and bone marrow transplant at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Cruz-Amy has expertise in treating lung cancer and prostate cancer, as well as other complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. She is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to provide compassionate, accessible care to a diverse patient population.

She is a member of American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology and enjoys RV camping and spending quality time with friends and family in her free time.

    Well, I do trust Dr. Cruz. We have a good relationship, doctor-patient. When I ask questions, she answers questions. When I ask so she thinks it's better, she gives me an opportunity to hear all the other things and for me to make the decision for myself. And I do feel comfortable with my oncologist, and I thank you very much for having Dr. Cruz on your team.

    I was very satisfied with all the four or five days that my wife was in the hospital. However, when we went to check out, the thing was horrible. We didn't get checked out until 8:30 at night. And you had the information about the checkout in the morning, and we didn't get out until 8:30. We did not get any instruction on the room vacuum. You had to wait for it to be shipped in, and it wasn't arrived until 8:30 at night. And by then, everybody had gone home. So the first night I had it with my wife, we had
