Gabriel M. Werder, MD

About Gabriel

Dr. Gabriel Werder completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Oakland University/William Beaumont Hospital and his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Georgetown University. He is board-certified in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. 

Dr. Werder joined Radiology Partners in September 2020, significantly expanding Interventional Radiology services available at Parrish Medical Center. 

When not in the hospital, Dr. Werder and his wife are often on the sidelines of athletic fields while their three sons play baseball, basketball, lacrosse, or run cross-country. He also enjoys fishing and spending time at the beach or on the water.

Medical Interests Areas of Interest:

Dr. Werder specializes in minimally invasive surgery guided by medical imaging and performs a wide variety of vascular and non-vascular interventions.

He has particular interest and expertise in dialysis access (e.g., fistula, graft, and catheter maintenance), uterine fibroid embolization, kyphoplasty, venous disease (e.g., PE, DVT, IVC filter insertion/retrieval, and central venous recanalization), and interventional oncology (e.g., tumor-directed therapy, chemotherapy ports, fiducial marker insertion for stereotactic radiosurgery, and all manner of biopsies).
