Magic Dancers and Arcadian Broad Perform at Day of Dance

If you’ve got rhythm, or even the occasional urge to “bust a move” on the dance floor, you can groove your way over to Sand Point Park in Titusville on Saturday, February 27 for the fourth annual Spirit of Women Day of Dance. Starting at 11 a.m., Parrish Medical Center will host a fabulous celebration of fitness and heart health for the entire family. Enjoy a day of dance instruction, demonstrations, games, prizes and health screenings as part of the Red Shoe Initiative—a campaign that inspires women and families to get active! Every step counts and admission is free.

Come and shake it up with the Orlando Magic® Dancers, who will be on site from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. These famous dancers will perform their routines and inspire you to get moving and dance along with them. They’ll also lead clinics and sign autographs, so don’t miss this opportunity to see the Orlando Magic Dancers up close and personal.

Arcadian Broad will dance his way into your hearts with his unique dance routines. A Central Florida resident, Arcadian was a 2009 semifinalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” TV show playing piano and dancing.

Families will also enjoy dance demonstration and instruction from emcees Alberto and Selena Hoyos, co-founders of Rhythmic Harmony International, Inc. Together, they have over 50 years of experience teaching, speaking, performing and dancing. Alberto and Selena have traveled the world, performing for world leaders, royalty, celebrities and many others.

“The power of music and dance moves people of all ages to become more confident, more relaxed and more fully engaged in their work and personal lives,” said Alberto Hoyos. Families will enjoy the Radio Disney AM 990 Road Crew, sports simulators, bouncy houses and games.
