Peter Motolenich, MD

About Peter

Dr. Motolenich is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over two decades of clinical experience across high-acuity hospital and ambulatory settings. He completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh, with an intensive focus on regional anesthesia. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and remains current with all MOCA requirements.

Dr. Motolenich has practiced extensively in Level I and Level II trauma centers, providing anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, obstetrics, and complex general surgery. He has particular expertise in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and acute pain management, having founded and directed an Acute Pain Service earlier in his career.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Motolenich has served as a clinical assistant professor, taught residents, CRNAs, and medical students, and contributed to peer-reviewed literature. His background includes significant military service as a Naval Nuclear Submarine Officer and medical officer in the Ohio Army National Guard.
