Parrish Healthcare Honors Volunteers with Appreciation Luncheon at The Great Outdoors

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (October 2, 2025)—Last month, Parrish Healthcare held a special volunteer appreciation luncheon at The Great Outdoors to honor the dedication and contributions of its volunteer team. The event brought together leadership and volunteers in a relaxed and festive Fall setting to celebrate their service and commitment.

“Volunteers embody the spirit of selfless giving,” said George Mikitarian, Parrish Healthcare’s President and CEO. “Our annual Fall Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon is one of the small ways we thank them for their incredible contributions to our mission, vision and values. Each hour they devote enriches our organization and strengthens our connection with the community we proudly serve.”

Parrish Healthcare’s volunteer program was established in 1959 and has welcomed hundreds of individuals, adults and teens alike, over the last six decades. In that time, volunteers collectively contributed more than three million hours of service to Parrish Healthcare and North Brevard, the equivalent of more than 342 years of volunteer service.

At the luncheon, Parrish acknowledged volunteer efforts from the past year and presented lifetime service milestone awards. The following volunteers were awarded for their continued service within Parrish Healthcare:

• 100 Service Hours: Jacob Andrews, Yvette King and Cindy Sims
• 300 Service Hours: Michael Cardinale, Patricia Mullenix, Carole Torrance and LeeAnne McGill
• 500 Service Hours: Teresa Puckett, Margie Collins, Ronald Davis and Joan Fath
• 1,000 Service Hours: John Myers
• 1,500 Service Hours: Constance Konefes andJanie Snyder
• 2,000 Service Hours: James Jr. Robey and Edward Seiler
• 3,500 Service Hours: Susan Arneson
• 4,500 Service Hours: Ginny Ayers
• 10,000 Service Hours: Terry Deal
