Gift of Light
Parrish Medical Center’s 28th annual Gift of Light tree lighting
and fireworks extravaganza will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019. This
free event is a treasured community tradition that signals the start of
the holiday season.
Gift of Light will be held where it all began almost 30 years ago—at
the site of the original tree lighting, which has been developed into
a beautiful wellness park. PMC’s grand 50-foot tree of lights will
stand as a landmark-tribute to our tradition of lighting the way to the
healing power of hope, love and joy of the season.
The community and kids of all ages will enjoy holiday performances by the
Titusville High School Orchestra, Astronaut High School Jazz Band, The
Joyful Noise Choir and Titusville Playhouse.
There will be games, prizes, face painting, balloon artists and lots of
photo opportunities with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves. Mr. Grinch
may even stop by with Cindy Lou Who. Visit Santa’s workshop to make
an ornament or decorate a cookie and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate,
cider and baked goods. This year, our newest Gift of Light addition is
our variety of food truck options.
We will light the tree at 5:30 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks show will
end the evening at 6:45 pm. We hope you and your family will join our
PMC family to start the holiday season. For more information about Gift
of Light, please call, 321-268-6110.
