Medical Interests Areas of Interest:

Dr. Tishko has performed over 6,000 thoracic surgeries. He has special expertise in caring for those with a diagnosis of lung cancer. To this end, Dr. Tishko invented and pioneered a minimally invasive surgical procedure called single incision video assisted thoracic surgery (SiVATS). This valuable technique extends surgery to those not usually considered to be surgical candidates and promotes less pain, fewer complications and a shorter hospital stay when compared with traditional procedures.
