Thomas F. Scheer MD, PhD, FACRO received his medical training at the Medical
College of Georgia. He accomplished residency at the University of Utah
Medical Center. He has practiced in the Southeast for most of his 30-year
career. He is trained and experienced in almost all classical and modern
modalities of Radiation Oncology, including Gamma Knife radiosurgery,
which he studied in Stockholm Sweden. His career has spanned several venues,
including large hospital practice, academic medicine, and small, rural
stand alone clinics. His particular area of interest is combined modality
therapy for cancer. He works with the physicians of OMNI to integrate
chemotherapy and biologic therapies into a seamless web of care and support
for his patients.
